    Location and Access

    By Rail

Two fast trains per hour Kings Cross/Hatfield (journey time 20 minutes), then walk to the court (5 mins) either through the Estate grounds (with gate keeper's approval), or via the "Eight Bells Pub" - see below

    By Car

Follow signs into Old Hatfield and turn right into Church Lane and use the car park behind the Church Hall at the top of the lane on the right. Walk through the church yard to the Gatehouse.  Alternatively park in the public car park on the left opposite the Church Lane turning, and walk up Fore Street to the House. Go through the gates signed to "Hatfield House & Park". The court is the tall brick building with false windows on the left, immediately after Fore Street Lodge.

After 6pm entry to the court is via the postern gate to the left of Fore Street Lodge, marked "Tennis Court". It is normally kept locked, but members may obtain keys from the Professionals. There is a doorbell by the postern gate, which rings on the court, but where possible it is advisable for Visitors to make prior arrangements for the gate to be left unlocked.

You can also find your way to us using Multimap.com (we are below the 'H' of 'Old Hatfield')
